Linda

Linda serves as a personal desktop assistant for Mac users, executing tasks directly on your system. Key capabilities include: * Research and data gathering * File organization and renaming * Document and spreadsheet creation * Drafting communications * Browser-based interactions This application empowers users to delegate a wide range of computer-based activities. It operates by interpreting natural language commands (spoken or typed) and then performing the necessary steps within its isolated browser environment and your local file system. Users can define specialized "coworkers," such as a "Researcher" or a "Bookkeeper," each with custom instructions and skill sets, enhancing its utility for diverse professional needs. Linda provides complete transparency by displaying every action it takes in a dedicated "Computer" column, allowing users to monitor progress and intervene at any point. Designed with privacy as a core principle, it runs local processing on Apple Silicon hardware or integrates with your own external service key. Crucially, the application always seeks explicit user approval before executing sensitive actions such as sending information, making purchases, deleting files, or posting content, ensuring full user control. There is no account registration required, maintaining user anonymity and data sovereignty.
