Welcome to agent.spot. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the agent.spot website, services, and API (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

To access certain features (such as the API), you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Use of the Service

agent.spot provides AI tool discovery services. You may search for AI tools, like or share them, and access limited information without registration. Full index access is provided via API to registered users.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract data from the Service, except as expressly permitted in Section 5 (Official MCP Access).
  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service without permission.
  • Impersonate others or provide false information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

5. Official MCP Access

As an exception to Section 4, automated access is permitted through our official Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint at https://mcp.agent.spot/mcp, subject to this Section. Access to the MCP endpoint requires no account and is provided free of charge.

Through the MCP endpoint you may:

  • Search our index interactively on behalf of a person using an AI assistant.
  • Retrieve individual product profiles, comparisons, and curated selections within the result limits each tool defines.
  • Display the results, and links to agent.spot pages, inside that assistant.

Through the MCP endpoint you may not:

  • Enumerate the index, whether by iterating identifiers, systematically covering categories, or issuing repeated queries designed to reach every record.
  • Build a copy, index, mirror, or derived database of our index, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Redistribute or resell our index data as a dataset or as a competing service.
  • Distribute requests across multiple sources, addresses, or accounts in order to circumvent the limits and safeguards of the endpoint.

The MCP endpoint is provided for interactive use and its data is informational. Results describe third-party products as recorded in our index at the time of the request; where our index does not state a fact, the endpoint reports it as unknown rather than inferring it, and you should not treat the absence of a fact as a statement about the product. We may change, limit, or withdraw access to the endpoint at any time, including for conduct described above.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and software on the Service, unless submitted by users, is the property of agent.spot. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our brand or platform assets without explicit permission.

7. Third-Party Links

The Service may include links to third-party AI products. We do not endorse or guarantee any third-party services and are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that search results are complete, error-free, or suitable for your specific purpose. agent.spot is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
