AI Hegemony

AI Hegemony is a free, browser-based strategy game that challenges players to navigate the complex landscape of global technological competition. As the leader of either the US or China, you will steer your nation through 22 turns, from 2024 to 2034, making critical decisions that impact technology, economy, diplomacy, security, and social stability. Key features include managing chip export controls, addressing alignment risk, forging international alliances, and responding to a dynamic political calendar. Each turn requires careful budget allocation across six areas: R&D, Compute, Talent, Commerce, Diplomacy, and Safety. Players also select policy cards to implement strategic initiatives and react to unfolding events and crises. The game tracks progress across five critical scores: Tech, Economy, Standards, Security, and Resilience. Achieving victory involves reaching an AGI Claim, securing a Standards Victory, or causing a Rival Breakdown through strategic pressure. A unique "Reality Check" feature at the game's conclusion compares your in-game decisions with real-world events, offering a reflective insight into geopolitical dynamics. Perfect for strategists, policy enthusiasts, and anyone interested in geopolitical simulations. Engage with complex decision-making in a world-shaping scenario.
