Tonefold

Tonefold offers an innovative approach to music composition, enabling users to generate and refine musical pieces with remarkable ease. Key features include: • Text-based song description for initial generation • Editable piano roll for note-by-note adjustments • Separate layers for chords, melody, bass, and drums • Export options for MIDI, WAV, and individual stems • Intuitive composer chat for detailed guidance This desktop application allows musicians and creators to articulate their musical ideas in plain language. Tonefold then translates these descriptions into structured musical elements, providing a foundational arrangement that users can immediately hear and modify. The layered approach ensures that each component—from the rhythmic drums to the melodic lead—can be independently tweaked, locked, or muted, fostering a highly flexible creative environment. Whether you're sketching a new track, arranging a jingle, or experimenting with harmonies, Tonefold provides the tools to bring your sonic visions to life. The ability to edit every note within the piano roll offers granular control, while the export functions support seamless integration into other digital audio workstations or for sharing finished compositions. It's an ideal companion for producers, songwriters, and hobbyists looking for a streamlined composition process.
