aegis

Aegis provides a comprehensive personal safety shield, replacing traditional panic buttons with a system that offers immediate and detailed support. Key features include: • Direct 24/7 emergency dispatch • Live context sharing (GPS, reason for alert, audio/video, health data) • Anomaly detection and fall detection capabilities • Adaptive accessibility and trusted contact networks When triggered, Aegis initiates a six-second countdown, allowing users to quickly input details about their situation. This crucial information accompanies the alert, ensuring responders have a clear understanding of the emergency from the outset. Users can continue to provide updates, which are instantly relayed to assist personnel. The app integrates a network of trusted guardians, who receive real-time location updates and incident details via text message upon dispatch. For more critical situations, users can escalate to a professional dispatch agent directly from the SOS screen, who can then deploy police or EMS. This escalation includes sharing a complete medical profile, vital for rapid and effective assistance. Designed for everyday safety, Aegis also features a duress PIN option. This allows users to subtly trigger an alert while appearing to cancel it, providing an extra layer of security in high-stress situations. It's an essential tool for individuals seeking enhanced personal protection and peace of mind.
