Poly-Glot is a robust tool designed to standardize and enhance code documentation across various programming languages. It transforms unstructured or inconsistent comments into professional documentation formats such as JSDoc, PyDoc, Javadoc, KDoc, and Doxygen. Additionally, it generates inline "why-comments" to clarify the logical reasoning behind code segments. The platform supports 12 programming languages, offering a unified solution for diverse codebases. Users can paste or upload code directly to the free web interface, or utilize the open-source command-line interface (CLI) for batch processing and integration into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. A forthcoming VS Code extension will further streamline the documentation process by allowing comment generation directly within the editor.
