Uncreep

uncreep is a specialized toolkit designed to empower developers and power users by providing granular control over Android applications. Key features include: • Identifies tracking mechanisms within Android apps • Detects dark patterns in app design • Estimates the effort to remove identified patterns • Rebuilds apps without selected unwanted features • Integrates with existing coding agent environments This platform analyzes Android application code to expose hidden data collection and manipulative user interface elements. It details the implications of each identified pattern and offers a clear cost-benefit analysis for their removal. Users can then select which elements to strip out, and uncreep reconstructs a modified APK, delivering a cleaner, more private application version. Built for engineering teams, privacy-conscious developers, and anyone seeking to customize their app experience, uncreep allows for a deeper understanding of app behavior. It helps in creating more transparent and user-respecting applications, or simply in personalizing existing apps to remove intrusive elements. The toolkit is ideal for ethical hacking, security research, and enhancing personal data sovereignty.
