PEA – Evidence Authenticator

PEA provides comprehensive image authentication, revealing signs of manipulation or generation through eight independent analyses. Key features include: • Eight distinct image analysis methods • Grades images on a 1-10 scale with clear reasoning • Distinguishes confirmed facts from concerns • Issues verifiable certificates with cryptographic sealing • Offers a free initial check without registration This service thoroughly examines photos and screenshots for any indication of alteration. Each of the eight analyses provides a separate grade and lists specific reasons for its findings, ensuring transparency. When there isn't sufficient data for an assessment, it clearly states "Not assessed" instead of making assumptions, maintaining accuracy and preventing misinterpretation. For critical use cases, PEA can seal a result as a certificate, fortified with a SHA-256 hash, Ed25519 signature, and RFC 3161 timestamp. This cryptographic sealing ensures that the authenticity and integrity of the assessment can be independently verified by anyone, providing a robust proof of authenticity. The service is accessible, offering a free initial check in English without requiring any sign-up. PEA is ideal for legal professionals, journalists, content creators, and individuals who need to verify the veracity of visual evidence. It empowers users to present or evaluate images with confidence, backed by clear, evidence-based reports that can withstand scrutiny in any context.
