CrestClip

CrestClip transforms long-form videos into engaging short-form content by focusing on actual viewer rewatch data. Key features include: • Identifies popular segments using YouTube's "Most replayed" graph • Analyzes timestamp comments and audio energy for peak moments • Grades clips based on a 9-point rubric for hook, payoff, and shareability • Generates vertical clips with word-by-word captions and hook headlines • Offers Autopilot for finding, clipping, and posting new videos automatically Unlike traditional video clipping tools that rely on generic algorithms, CrestClip leverages concrete audience signals. It processes YouTube videos, Twitch VODs, and uploaded files to pinpoint the exact moments viewers found most compelling. This data-driven approach ensures that the generated clips have a higher potential for engagement on platforms like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Each clip comes with a unique "Crest score" indicating its potential impact, along with options to edit and schedule posts directly. The platform is designed to minimize manual scrubbing and editing, providing creators with ready-to-use content. This makes it an invaluable tool for content creators, marketers, and anyone looking to maximize their video reach without extensive editing effort.
