SolarPowered Traffic Monitoring Solution

This solar-powered device offers comprehensive vehicle counting and data collection capabilities. Key features include: • Directional vehicle counting • Solar and battery self-sufficiency • On-device data processing • Online MySQL database integration • Minimal data retention Designed for continuous operation, this system accurately tallies vehicles moving in each direction at a specific location. Its robust, self-contained power solution, combining solar panels with battery storage, ensures reliable performance without external power grids. All data processing occurs locally on the device, enhancing efficiency and reducing the need for constant cloud connectivity. The collected traffic information is periodically uploaded to an online MySQL database, providing easy access for further analysis and reporting. This setup allows for flexible data retrieval, enabling researchers and planners to gain insights into traffic patterns and flow. The device prioritizes data privacy by retaining only essential information for the shortest necessary period. Ideal for university campuses, urban planners, and environmental researchers, this tool provides essential traffic data for infrastructure planning, congestion studies, and emissions monitoring. Its low-maintenance design and remote data access make it a valuable asset for long-term deployment in various outdoor environments.
