Memora provides a robust, Byzantine-fault-tolerant memory solution for multi-agent systems, addressing critical security vulnerabilities inherent in traditional database setups. Key features include: • CRDTs for fork-free state convergence • ACFA for coordinator-free agent equivocation detection • Epistemic logic to identify collective falsehoods • Ed25519-signed, attributable, and replayable writes • Tamper-evident, agent-attributed audit trails Traditional systems using last-write-wins databases like Redis are vulnerable to silent state forks and memory poisoning, where a single compromised agent can corrupt shared state. Memora replaces these fragile databases with a sophisticated 3-layer mathematical engine. Layer 1 uses Conflict-free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs) to guarantee consistent, fork-free data convergence across all agents. Layer 3 employs ACFA (coordinator-free Byzantine aggregation) with fixed-point math to automatically detect and ban equivocating agents without needing a central coordinator. Layer 2 integrates Epistemic logic to discern when agents collectively agree on incorrect information, forcing human intervention. Memora directly addresses OWASP Agentic critical security issues, including memory and context poisoning (ASI06), cascading failures (ASI08, preventing "worms" like Morris-II), and rogue agents (ASI10). It ensures that even a compromised agent cannot maliciously fork the state of the swarm, providing essential security and integrity for complex multi-agent operations. Furthermore, every write is cryptographically signed and attributable, creating a complete audit trail that complies with regulations like the EU Act (Articles 12 & 13).
