FloorGen

FloorGen empowers users to design and visualize room layouts, remodels, or entire homes directly within their web browser. Key features include: * Intuitive drawing and tracing tools for floor plans * Extensive library of over 3,000 furniture and fixture models * Real-time 3D walkthroughs and video exports * Integrated code checking against IRC standards * Export options for PDF, PNG, DXF, and MP4 formats This tool simplifies the planning process, allowing you to measure and draw spaces with precision, then experiment with different furniture arrangements before making physical changes. It's ideal for homeowners planning renovations, renters visualizing new layouts, or anyone needing to create scaled drawings for contractors without installing complex software. The platform saves projects directly in your browser, offering seamless access without requiring an account signup. Beyond basic layout, FloorGen supports detailed interior design work, enabling users to apply wall finishes, create elevations and sections, and generate complete print sets with title blocks. While it doesn't offer photorealistic rendering or DWG/IFC export, it provides robust functionality for producing professional-grade plans suitable for client presentations or construction quotes. Integration with natural language processors like Claude and ChatGPT further enhances its editing capabilities, making design adjustments as simple as a text command.
